At Ohr Yisroel we believe:

  • Students don't have to prove themselves to us. We have to prove ourselves to our students.

  • We are here for the students. The students are not here for us.

What makes us different:

  • Limudei Kodesh: Ohr Yisroel is an environment of talmud torah lishma. There are no tests, grades or homework in Limudei Kodesh.  No student will ever have their learning, davening or growth in Torah evaluated by a number or a score.

  • General Studies: We implement individualized and motivated learning by emphasizing the importance of the student-teacher relationship, individual responsibility, and freedom of personal choice. Our graduates have been accepted into numerous prestigious colleges throughout the country.
